Peter is writing a vampire novel, and he used a stake through the heart to kill the vampire. Jayne, his vampire expert assistant, tells Peter that he already used that method earlier and that there are other ways to kill vampires. Peter tells her he hired her for technical information, not to write the book. Jayne leaves, but before she does, she asks Peter to talk to his publisher about her works. He promises her that he will, first thing in the morning. Once Jayne leaves, he goes back to his writing, using her ideas to kill the vampire.

Count Draco appears on ledge of Peter's balcony. He mocks Peter's writing. Peter at first thinks that Draco is a normal man and tells him to get off his balcony. When Peter tries to call the police, Draco uses his hypnotic powers to force him to put the phone down.

Synopsis
